I just installed winamp. It reconfigured all my icons on my desktop. This is stuff junk software did back in the 80's. If this is the quality of the software I vote NO on any of there stuff.

Yeah, iTunes feels like a fish out of water on a PC. Winamp is slick.

How can you claim winamp uses more memory than iTunes? iTunes IS NOT smooth if you are using a PC of any sort, its big and bulky and VERY demanding. I've always been a loyal winamp user, loved its simplicity and its simple need - to play mp3's. To me, winamp is just keeping up with the times but at the same time staying true to itself, as in a nutshell it is still just the simple mp3 player that I fell in love with almost 7 years ago. iTunes might be the choice for Mac OS X ect, but for windows I'll continue using winamp now, thank god for its added iPod support.

Each to their own however, and unfortunatly, I'm one of the bitter ones with a slow and old laptop. Winamp for me though. Thumbs up to its iPod support.

According to me I-tunes has a much better interface although it lacks the funky skins which Winamp has.

The Graphics are as good as winamp and the equalizer is even better. Somehow I feel winamp 5 is slow and requires more memory as compared to the smooth I-tunes. Secondly the I-tunes video format has good graphic quality and better sound.

It's time winamp should re-define it's player.

Yeah, at last I can say goodbye to itunes(good looks but lacking compared to winamp)
