Hi,
It was good but it could'nt solve my problem. I have an image that i want to put in as the background of my web page. I have put in background position as 100%100% but it did'nt work and the image appears as just its actual size.
How do i do this.

thank you, very clearly explained and helpful; as John Rhodes points out, visual examples may be more helpful to some but one has only to visit the CSS ZenGarden to see many creative examples...mind-blowing, some of those designs!
