The reason I've use this technique is partly because it is what I've used in other outbut buffering related tutorials on this site and partly because I've always believed that explicitly stating things, like the ending of output buffering, makes for better programming.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, you make a very good point.
