how to display the database returned value into the select box
i have a code but it gives an error to replace that value pls check it

I've finally added the French version of this list, sent to me by the very kind David Hunter.

I've also split Serbia and Montenegro into their own countries and Macedonia has been renamed as per comment #19.

I had a list but it was missing one country. I knew the real count but I did not know what country is missing. It was the palestinian Territory.

The country listed as "Macedonia" is referred to as "The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" within UN (http://www.un.org/members/list.shtml#t), EU and NATO (Also see the previously referred page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-2 ). This is the correct name to use, because Macedonia is the name of a Greek province and there is a dispute over this name between Greece and FYROM, not yet solved.
